Fortunately, we have been able to integrate our passion for travel with our professional lives. Bernie specializes in medical education, teacher preparation and community development, and Eileen’s includes high school teaching, principalship and having worked summers at a travel agency. Over the span of four decades, both careers afforded us the opportunity to teach, live and travel in over 110 countries.
When our son Linwood was with us growing up, we would finish an international project and as a family we would travel to interesting countries surrounding the project. Now our grandson, Lawson ac- companies us on many of these adventures. As a family we continue to spread good will as we travel hopefully changing the world one person at a time.
We joined TCC in May 2016 and have been inspired by others who have explored this world. We continue to add one country at a time, with our last international trip to the Amazon region of Manaus on a riverboat and our next countries will be Argentina and Chile as soon as it is safe to travel again!
