Club Announcements: This ‘n That

 

  • The 2012 TCC Roster of Members will be mailed to members in early December. It contains an updated History of the club. Send any corrections to TCC Headquarters
  • Invoices for the 2013 Dues will be mailed the end of December and are due on receipt.
  • Southern California luncheon meetings in 2013 are on the second Saturday of March, June, September and December. The Northern California lunches are one week earlier, also on Saturdays.
  • New England Area Coordinator Dave Santulli recently wrote an article about Chocolate that appeared in the Huffington PostHere’s a link to the article »
  • It has been suggested that members of a chapter may want to share travel blogs. This would be different than the information shared in the TCC Forum. It would work for chapters of 25 or so members who know each other fairly well. Discuss with your Area Coordinator.
  • At the September meeting in Newport Beach, Kevin Hughes gave an interesting presentation on two of his recent trips to Libya and Egypt.
  • Did you know that, unlike other U.S. territories, those who are born in American Samoa are considered “noncitizen-nationals?” Five American Samoans and a Samoan organization have filed a Federal lawsuit against the U.S. government, as they seek citizenship.
