It hardly seems as if another travel year is closing but it’s time again for us to wish a “Happy Holiday” season to our TCC members. We hope to see many of our members at the upcoming holiday luncheon at Lawry’s The Prime Rib Restaurant in Beverly Hills.
Our meeting dates in 2012 will be the second Saturday of every three months – March 10 and September 8 in Orange County, CA, and June 9 and December 8 in Los Angeles.
We extend congratulations to Paul Couniotakis, Louise McGregor and David Horne for their Platinum (250 countries) memberships. David is coming to our December 10 luncheon from Dunedin, New Zealand.
Special thanks go to President Ron Endeman and Past President Kevin Hughes, who made a special presentation at the September meeting on our newest country, South Sudan.
Congratulations to President Ron for having completed the TCC list of 321 places, with his recent visit to Abkhazia.
The World Tourism Organization has forecast that tourist arrivals will reach 1.8 billion by 2030.
I wish you a successful 2012 with lots of pleasant travel experiences.
