Details Confirmed for April 2014 TCC Meeting in Toronto

Hello World Travelers,

I am pleased to provide details for our Spring Eastern Canada TCC meeting!

Saturday April 26th 12 noon at The Hive 544 King Street West in Toronto. For those of you perhaps attending for the first time, it is easy to get to: One block west of Spadina Ave. on King St. West. Across the street is a Starbucks with lots of parking spaces. The name on the building is The Hive. Please have a look at this Google map or call me on my mobile phone (416-566-7400) if you need further directions.

I am delighted to announce that our own David Selley will be our lead speaker for our meeting. His theme will be “World Travel: Its Appeal and Its Importance: There’s No Place Like Away.” David’s plan is to kick off this discussion with his perspective and some photos, then opening it up for club members’ for POVs as well.

For the second part of the meeting, I ask everyone to bring along and share a picture of your favorite island and/or island experience. This highly interactive approach worked extremely well at our holiday social, as you’ll recall. Looking forward to making our next meeting fun and interesting for all as we share our passion for world travel.

Important: Please RSVP confirming your April 26th attendance at your earliest convenience to me – rshaver@thehiveinc.com, so we can plan the lunch requirements. We’ll probably order in some pizzas and salads for the group and divide the costs as usual for a nominal cost each.

Look forward to seeing you all soon.

By the way, another reminder regarding the TCC 60th anniversary cruise – hope we can have strong Canadian attendance. Jane and I are confirmed to attend. More info here »

Warm regards,

Rick Shaver, Area Coordinator
