Area Coordinator Jane Berryman says the Philadelphia chapter met on Jan. 25 at Inka Wall, a Peruvian restaurant in the suburbs. “Ten members braved freezing rain and slick roads to hear from former AP and UPI war photographer Michael Feldman,” she reports. “He served with both press agencies in London, Brussels and New York, and personally covered the genocide in Rwanda. He edited photos from Bosnia, Iraq and other global flash points during his storied career before recently retiring.”
New TCC members Erik Borlund and Mandy Learson were formally welcomed. Jane reported on the TCC 60th Anniversary cruise.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 17 at Fogo de Chao Brazilian steakhouse. Mark Gale, President of the Philadelphia International Airport, will be the guest speaker. RSVPs are due by May 8.
