Arkansas TCC members gathered at the home of Anna and Steven Clift. Steven’s birthday was celebrated with cake and singing, followed by a very stirring topic: spiritual adventures in our travels. The spring 2015 meeting of the Arkansas Chapter of The Travelers’ Century Club was held on May 2. The lunch was at Samantha’s private meeting room. In the spirit of that day’s Kentucky Derby, mint juleps were the drink du jour. See more photos below.
Discussions included “miracles” in Ethiopia; life-changing experiences in Myramar; Bhutan; and sights that inspired us, from Iceland’s stark natural beauty to entire tours brought to tears by trips on Lake Powell to Bryce Canyon. Recent television special on Nova made many wish we had a Hubble’ss telescopic view of the Universe.
