Eastern Canada Chapter Coordinator Rick Shaver reports that the Travelers’ Century Club was profiled in a November 2015 article tha appeared in Travel Industry Today, a Canadian-based electronic journal for travel professionals. The article describes typical TCC members as “Uber Travellers” who are ambitious, organized and proactive in their quest to add more countries and territories to their personal lists:
Uber Travel is one niche specialization that could turn into a main stream business activity. It goes beyond what we often stereotype as ‘adventure’ travel and might be categorized as ‘off-beat/super-detailed’ travel that would appeal to those who love challenges, solving riddles and deriving satisfaction and fulfillment from experiencing travel and activities in far flung destinations.
