In June, TCC members from Los Angeles, Orange County, and a large contingent from San Diego met at the Grand in Long Beach. For a change of pace from a formal speaker, members brought a favorite article of clothing with a memorable story to tell.
At the September lunch at Fleming’s in Newport Beach, the guest speaker will be Matthew Allison, who will speak first about his winter expedition to the Yamal Peninsula in the Siberian Arctic, where he lived with the nomadic Nenet people, followed by his experiences with the treehouse dwelling Korowai tribe of Papua.
