At an excellent turnout for the May meeting, we were glad to welcome three new TCC members. Frances Pordes, our evening’s speaker, talked about the year and a half she spent traveling around the world by every imaginable means of transport.
The September meeting or the Denver TCC Chapter will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15, at 6 p.m. at The Garlic Knot Restarant in University Hills (2553 S. Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO, tel. 720-542-3528). The restaurant is located on the west side of Colorado Blvd. and just north of Yale.
Our guest speaker, Ms. Iman Jodeh, will help us to “Meet The Middle East.”
Thanks to all who attended our 27th birthday party in July and participated in the written and photo quizzes. You are all so knowledgeable and well traveled.
Our last meeting of the year will be held on Nov. 17. Brenda Gottschalk will take us to Uzbekistan and the Golden Triangle of India.
Please let me know no later than Tuesday, Sept. 13, if you plan to attend.
