The Philadelphia Chapter happily celebrated its 10th anniversary on Sunday, May 20, with a cocktail party in the garden of Chapter Coordinator Jane Berryman’s historic colonial home in the Old City section of the city, followed by a four-course roast suckling pig banquet at Amada, culinary home of Iron Chef Jose Garces.
Twenty-three people were in attendance to hear from Islamic Art expert Heather Campbell, and Honorary Consul for Uruguay, Peter Longstreth. As the cava and sangria flowed, the group welcomed several new members to the fold and reminisced about their favorite trips. Jane was touched to receive thank you gifts from several members of the Chapter and thanks them for the bouquet, wine and chocolates.
