The Colorado TCC Chapter met on April 19 at the Imperial Chinese Restaurant. Many of our members were traveling, so our group was small, but we were happy to welcome new TCC member Laura Mueller, TCC member Jim Sartin visiting from Alaska, and several prospective provisional members.
Our guest speaker, J.D. Lewis, spoke about travels with his two sons over 12 months to 12 different countries to do humanitarian work. J.D. answered many questions about preparation for the trip and the involvement of his sons. They now have a foundation that helps support 12 organizations that they worked with around the globe (see https://twelveintwelve.org).
We look forward to our next meeting on July 18, which will be the 30th anniversary of the Colorado Chapter!
