Hello World Travelers,
On May 15, we were very fortunate to have Dave and Deb of the famed Planet D blog as our esteemed guest speakers.
Their credentials include: chosen by Forbes as top ten travel influencers in the world, and back-to-back gold medalists by the Society of American Travel Writers and the North American Travel Journalists Association.
I believe meeting participants would agree that their adventurous spirit, energy and enthusiasm was infectious! As full-time travelers for the past 12 years, Dave and Deb had great adventures to share.
For Dave and Deb’s presentation, they shared “Epic Ways to Travel the World” — focusing on unique journeys they have taken around the world via several modes of travel, beginning with the 12,000-kilometer “Tour d’Afrique” bike race. They then showcased their participation in the 14,000-kilometer “Mongol Rally car race” from London to Mongolia. Then a foot-power journey – ‘Trekking in Bhutan” and horsepower trip “horse trekking in Kyrgyzstan.” We were all exhausted by the end of their terrific presentation!
