With Bill and Pam Girtman again extending a gracious hand, we have arranged to meet on Nov. 11 at the Marker 36 restaurant in Pelican Bay, where we had our first meeting.
Please plan to arrive at the parking area by 4:45 p.m. as we will be taking the tram to the beach club. There is free parking at Marker 36 Parking (look for the sign) on Pelican Bay Boulevard, which is between the Saint Pierre and Cap Ferrat condo buildings. After parking, just walk to the tram station (right there) and Pam, Bill and I will be there to greet and get you on the tram to the beach restaurant. There was almost unanimous support for a late afternoon/dinner meeting, and, as “the season” is not yet in full swing, we were fortunate to be able to again go to the beach club. I will bring potential dates for our next two meetings, and, we can discuss future meeting venues, including at least one further north. Coconut Point Mall has been suggested as a potential location.
