Indiana/Kentucky/Ohio Chapter Meeting Rescheduled to April 30

Dear TCC members,

Yes, we were planning to meet on April 9, but a marathon will be running through Carmel that day and we will not have a place to park or eat so the date has been changed to April 30.

On April 30 we will be meeting at 11:15 a.m. at divvy restaurant in the main dining room in City Center, Carmel, Indiana. Divvy restaurant features contemporary American small plates of locally raised food. The menu accommodates a variety of dietary needs including gluten free, lactose free and vegan. The restaurant is located at 71 W. City Center Drive. Do take a look at the menu at divvycarmel.com; you will want to order two or three small shareable plates.

Our speaker for the day will be a representative from the Carmel Mayor’s office. The presentation will include how a vibrant thriving city was created. The redevelopment includes the Old Town area of Carmel as well as designing City Center with world-class cultural and entertainment venues.

Hotel Carmichael is part of the city center project. It is part of the Marriott Autograph Collection hotels. If you wish to stay overnight in Carmel, Bernie and I suggest Hotel Carmichael which is within walking distance of the divvy restaurant. Add an extra hour to your stay on Saturday, April 30, for there is world-class shopping right around the corner from divvy restaurant..

Please send reservations for the divvy restaurant to Eileen Strenecky at bstrenecky@gmail by April 15. Everyone will be paying for their own shareable plates! Reservations for Hotel Carmichael can be found on the Marriott website.

We are looking forward to seeing all TCC members. If you have been a world traveler recently (within the past year or planning on going this year) please let us know when you send your reservation.
