The Northern California TCC Chapter will meet on Saturday, Dec. 3, at Trader Vic’s (9 Anchor Drive in Emeryville). Social time will begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch at noon. Parking is free.
TCC member Lillie Echevarria will present “The Pursuit of 330 during COVID Times,” a full-time travel journey after her retirement.
In March 2019, Lillie retired and started on a year trip which has now turned into a four-year and still-going adventure. At the end of August 2022, Lillie reached TCC 250 and UN 171 … adding 48 UN countries and 83 TCC locations to her photographic collection. The presentation will cover the travel changes experienced due to COVID and a photographic summary of her 2022 travel year. Highlights include Chad, Sudan, Mustang, Kashmir, Ladakh, Assam, Nagaland, DRC, Myanmar, and some Indian Ocean islands among others.
