Central Europe Coordinator Armin Schreiner welcomed attendees to Hamburg in August. The group enjoyed breathtaking views from the “Dancing Towers” of the Elbe River. Afterwards, everybody convened to the Rickmer Rickmers, a historic tallship built in 1896. Area host Joerg Werda introduced Hamburg as Germany’s “Gateway to the World,” and Martin Blankemeyer shared Islamic holy sites in Saudi Arabia. Dirk Hannemann showcased his involvement in the organization “German Doctors” as he presented his trip to India titled: “Temples, Tigers, and Tuberculosis.”
