At the August 2023 meeting of the Southwest Florida (Sarasota) Chapter, Larry and Katherine Nutt presented on their recent trip to the South Indian Ocean Islands of Madagascar, Reunion, Mauritius, Rodrigue and Mayotte. Their trip involved 12 flights and over 25,000 miles. They traveled on their own itinerary with local guides and drivers meeting them throughout.
The trip was an adventure with some tough roads, especially in Madagascar, but full of beautiful landscapes and of course, Lemurs
Member Wilma Drummond and her stepfather Charles drove all the way from Oklahoma to attend our meeting! Over 1,200 miles! . We were the 10th TCC chapter meeting Wilma has visited.
