The Circumnavigators Club of Chicago invites Chicago-area TCC members to join them for a dinner and presentation on Sunday, Dec. 3, from noon to 2 p.m. at Francesca’s on Chestnut in Chicago. The venue is in the Di Sotto Ecoteca at 200 East Chestnut Street, with valet parking available for $16 (or self park in Water Tower Place).
Steven Cory Solomon will talk about his experiences as a Rotary Scholar in Durban, South Africa. He will share how Dr. Jane Goodall and Archbishop Desmond Tutu have changed his life through global opportunities beyond his wildest imagination. Steven also will tell some of his favorite travel experiences living with a Mayan family in Guatemala, drinking at dog cafes in Thailand, swimming in a cave in Belize, sleeping on a raised platform in the Amazon, eating at the dark restaurant in Berlin, experiencing the tölt on Icelandic horses, and more! Come hear from a truly global citizen about his life experiences, travel and lessons learned.
The cost is $70 per person, and reservations must be made by Nov. 26, 2023.
