Details Announced for Northeast Florida/Southeast Georgia Chapter Meeting in Jacksonville on Sept. 30

I’m excited to announce that we’re planning to have our next Northeast Florida/Southeast Georgia Chapter meeting on Monday, Sept. 30, at 11:30 a.m., at the Seasons 52 restaurant in Jacksonville.

At this venue we’ll enjoy having a private dining/meeting room with dedicated audio/visual equipment. The restaurant features a rotating menu of seasonal American dishes alongside international wines in an upscale setting. It is conveniently located in the St. Johns Town Center area just a few minutes off I-295 (5096 Big Island Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32246; tel. 904-645-5252). This Jacksonville-area location is easily accessible to TCC members on the Florida/Georgia I-95 corridor as well as central Florida locations such as Gainesville, The Villages and Orlando. Everyone who attended the April meeting at this location was very happy with it. I hope you can join us for this meeting!

One of the focuses for this meeting is that we’ll be sharing the fun experiences and awesome knowledge we obtained by attending the TCC International Conference in the Azores in late May. The Azores was an amazing venue for this meeting, and the presentations were filled with interesting gems of information we can all use in our travels.

Russ and I will be sharing the highlights of our recent trip to Svalbard and the Lofoten Islands. And, as always, members will also be able to report on their latest and upcoming travel experiences with fellow travel enthusiasts while enjoying a light lunch. Dress is casual, and everyone will be responsible for their own check.

Please RSVP to me (crus.sun@gmail.com) about your attendance as soon as possible, but no later than Sept. 27 so that we can have enough seating. Whether you live in the NortheastCentral Florida or Southern Georgia area or in another part of Florida you are welcome to join our luncheon meeting. We look forward to sharing “around the table, around the world,” and suggestions for special topics, guest speakers, presentations and possible venues for future meetings are also encouraged.

Please let me know your feedback on what you would like to do with your chapter and future meetings with fellow travelers. And don’t forget to RSVP!

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at this meeting in a great location and sharing our mutual joy of travel.

Keep on traveling!
