Sudha Sahai will host a New York Chapter gathering on Long Island at Lido Beach (easy access via Long Island Rail Road) on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 1 to 6:30 p.m.
BBQ Lunch Poolside at Sudha’s Home
Sudha will provide grilled burgers, chicken, and veggies, along with beverage basics (water, soda, etc.). Guests may bring side dishes or other beverages to share. Please advise/discuss what you
might like to bring when you RSVP. Sudha will coordinate the offerings for a varied mix.
Stroll Down a Private Path … In Search of a Famous Local Treat!
Continue a pleasant stroll to a private beach. Sudha will provide beach permits. Don’t forget your bathing suit, towel, and any beach gear you want … chairs, umbrellas, toys.
How to Get to Lido Beach
Lido Beach is in between Long Beach and Jones Beach. Easy LIRR to Long Beach every hour on summer Saturdays, then a short Uber ride to Sudha’s home. The current train schedule shows arrivals at 1:02, 2:02, 3:02 etc. (chedules subject
to change). Sudha will supply parking permits to those who drive.
