The Washington DC TCC Chapter has enjoyed a remarkably active and global 2026! We kicked off the year in January, meeting up immediately after the Washington DC Travel & Adventure Show to share travel plans and budget tips over dinner at the Ottoman Restaurant. This was followed by a festive April Happy Hour in Northern Virginia and a memorable international dinner gathering in Hanoi, Vietnam this past May.

Most recently on June 20, fifteen members and friends met for a delightful dinner and a Broadway in the Park performance at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. The evening perfectly captured our shared passion for exploring the world and celebrating the diverse voices that shape our journeys.
Upcoming 2026 Events
Our remaining events for the year will require an RSVP for location and access details to ensure space for our members and verified prospective members:
- Saturday, Nov. 7: Reimagined National Geographic Museum Private Tour
Join us for an exclusive group trip to the completely transformed National Geographic Museum of Exploration following its major grand opening on June 26! Because the museum is not launching its exclusive group trip experiences until after Labor Day, our November date offers one of the very first opportunities to experience it together. We have secured limited slots for a highly anticipated 90-minute, private behind-the-scenes tour of their “Base Camp” areas usually closed to the public, followed by a group lunch. Space is strictly limited to 30 total participants across morning and afternoon slots. The firm RSVP and payment deadline is Friday, September 25. Please contact Olivia immediately to secure your slot and receive full payment and timing details. - Saturday, Dec. 19: Chapter Holiday Luncheon (Save the Date)
