The Arkansas TCC Chapter met on Saturday, July 11, at Rivera’s Italian restaurant in North Little Rock.
Steve Clift gave a brief presentation profiling the recent TCC international meeting in Hanoi. Colleen McClure and Linda Bell discussed their trip to Socotra — Colleen twice. Henk Knipscheer discussed multiple trips to Vietnam over the years for the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation located in Arkansas. He and his wife Carol are headed to India again. Elke Gilbert plans to visit Algeria soon.
Aaron Lubin is very involved with the Rotary Club and plans trips to Cameroon to visit families of students that came to Arkansas for Rotary’s exchange program, and a follow-up on visiting students from Madagascar now at the University of Toronto.
And on the home front, the Imlers are just back from a road trip to Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills .
As usual many, were away on extended travels — a good problem to have. Of note, we bragged on our own Wendy Arbeit, who visited all of the United Nations countries and we wouldn’t bet against her reaching 330.
