Trader Vic’s on the San Francisco Bay was the venue for the Northern California TCC Chapter’s holiday luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 6, with 40 TCC members and guests in attendance. NorCal member Tom Nash and his wife, Madeleine, presented photographs and memories of their many visits along these ancient trade routes from China through Central Asia to the Mediterranean. Their adventures while traveling to these remote areas were many, and it was fascinating to learn how the influx of trade spread ideas and customs throughout the region.
