  • Georgia Chapter Lunar New Year Celebration in Marietta to Mark the Year of the Fire Horse

    Dear Fellow Explorers,

    As we navigate our way through 2026, it’s time to trade our boarding passes for chopsticks! We are thrilled to announce the first 2026 gathering of the Georgia TCC Chapter.

    Since we are a group that has collectively seen every corner of the globe, it’s only fitting that we celebrate the turn of the Lunar Calendar together; 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse, symbolizing energy, strength, and the spirit of adventure — traits every 100+ country/territory veteran knows well.

    To honor the Lunar New Year, we invite you to bring some festive flair to the table:

    • Dress Code: Please wear something red (the color of luck and prosperity) or your favorite traditional Chinese attire collected from your travels.
    • The Vibe: Authentic cuisine, spirited conversation, and stories from the road.

    Whether you’ve spent months in the provinces of China or just appreciate a world-class dumpling, we look forward to hearing about your latest expeditions and planning new ones.
