The Northern California TCC Chapter met on March 7 at the Basque Cultural Center in South San Francisco. With just over twenty in attendance it was a smaller group than normal, but everyone reported enjoying the cuisine and sharing recent travel experiences.
Brigitta Ammann presented on the “Historic Route of Northern Ethiopia” which included sharing her experiences in visits to Gondar’s complex of medieval palaces, the rock formations and deep gorges of the Simien Mountains, Lake Tana the source of the Blue Nile, the rock churches of Lalibela, and many other Ethiopian treasures.
