March 2016 SoCal Program in Newport Beach Featured the Five Stans
At the TCC March luncheon in Newport Beach, San Francisco TCC member Lillie Echevarria gave an AV presentation on the five Stan countries — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan — which she visited during 21 days in the fall of 2014. She also mentioned a possible sixth Stan country— Karakalpakstan, autonomous territory in Uzbekistan.
