2023 Off to a Good Start for the Southwest TCC Chapter

The Southwest TCC Chapter held its first meeting of 2023 — and the first with the Chapter’s new coordinator — on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Sixteen of us participated in a  stimulating two-hour discussion (13 in person; three via Zoom). From this meeting, it’s clear that our chapter includes many members who have traveled widely and possess a diverse and deep knowledge of our world. This is a group where we can learn from each other.

To take advantage of this opportunity, we have decided to hold three meetings a year — winter, spring, and fall. Consistent with that decision, the proposal is to meet again during the second half of April or the first half of May. Please contact Chapter Coordinator Hugh Randal with your date preferences.

Successful Southwest Chapter Meetings in November in January

The newly formed Southwest Chapter that includes Arizona, New Mexico, and West Texas held meetings via Zoom in November and January, chaired by Coordinator Wanda Ross. A dozen people attended the November meeting. Henrietta Hallaq (Tucson, AZ) was congratulated for reaching Gold Status with 217 countries and territories.
