Chapter Coordinators Jan and John Novar report that the Southeast Florida TCC Chapter held a festive holiday gathering in early December at the home of Marlene Cross. Seventeen people attended, and all enjoyed the travel-themed White Elephant Gift Exchange. The next meeting will be on Sunday, March 25, in Miami.
Forty members gathered at the United Irish Cultural Center in San Francisco to hear Samer Kawar speak about 17 countries in West and Central Africa, illustrated by brilliant photography of villages and markets.
Gloria and Charlie McCoy hosted the October Southern California, San Diego TCC luncheon meeting. Thirty-five members and guests enjoyed Mediterranean cuisine and a program on Ethiopia by Tom Getz.
