At a recent meeting of the New York TCC Chapter at family-owned Aragvi restaurant in midtown Manhattan, a Georgian feast was enjoyed by new and old members, along with visiting members from Florida. Jane Eagleson celebrated her birthday by presenting on her 12 trips to Russia since 1980.
The city that doesn’t sleep hosted two events for the TCC’s most on-fire chapter! Members gathered this summer at home of co-coordinator Sherri Donovan in Oyster Bay for a social event and scavenger hunt. A month later, an educational presentation was made on the five “Stans” by several contributing members.
What a weekend! In March, 2024, the New York TCC Chapter organized a meet-up and study tour in Senegal with co-coordinator Sherri Donovan as tour leader and celebrity musician Mamadou Yade of Mamadou Waflash as the local indigenous Lebou guide.
