NorCal Chapter Returns to South San Francisco’s Basque Cultural Center for Our March 2023 Gathering

The Northern California TCC Chapter will meet on Saturday, March 4, at the Basque Cultural Center (599 Railroad Ave. in  South San Francisco). Social time will begin at 11 a.m., followed by lunch at noon. Parking is free. Speaker Lucinda Hayden will discuss

The speaker will be provisional TCC member Lucinda Hayden on the topic of “Adventures in Traveling While Working.” Lucinda loves her work and doesn’t want to abandon her clients, but she also wants to reach her TCC 100 soon. Her clients were supportive of her travel goal and willing to be flexible. So, in spite of some hilarious challenges, she was able to continue working while traveling — non-stop — for 5 months in 2022.

Lucinda’s presentation will cover highlights of the 14 new TCC countries/territories she added, including those in the Mediterranean (Malta, Sicily, Tunisia, Sardinia, Corsica), the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey and the charming Sark), Turkey and East Africa (Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar) as well as some funny stories about how she managed to work the whole time.

As a result, Lucinda is making great progress toward full TCC membership, and her adventures along the way are sure to entertain!
