Report From the April 2025 Chicago-Area Meeting in Elmhurst
The Illinois TCC Chapter met on April 5 at the Elmhurst Public Library. A fascinating program was delivered on local Elmhurst citizen, J. Hart Rosdail, who was anointed the “World’s Most Traveled Man” by no less an authority than the Guinness Book of World Records in the 1960s. Hart’s primary means of transport was a bicycle, and he logged over 11,000 miles traveling to six continents and almost every nation on two wheels during his life of travel. The program was delivered by local historian Daniel Lund.
