  • November Program in Chicago to Focus on Sightseeing and Scuba Diving in Oman

    The Illinois TCC Chapter will hold a potluck luncheon and program on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Chicago home of Carol and Nick Sommers.  Carol and Nick live in a beautifully restored 1878 home that once housed an American Legion Post, complete with a flagpole and light grey 1912 cannon in front. The house is chock-full of collected treasures from more than 40 years of traveling all over the world. There is usually street parking in the area.

    Carol will present a program  titled “Oman Above and Below Sea Level,” based on a recent cultural and scuba diving tour of this fascinating Mideast country.

Please also let us know what you plan to bring, so that we won’t have duplicates and can tell members what we need them to bring (appetizer, main course, dessert or beverage).
