  • April 2024 Arkansas Chapter Meeting Report

    The spring 2024 meeting of the Arkansas TCC Chapter was held on Saturday, April 6, at the Sterling Market of the Sterling Paint Company. Nineteen folks were present, three of whom were absent from the photo above. A short presentation from show and tell items from Madagascar, Reunion Island , Mauritius and Seychelles and a scrapbook were discussed comparing similarities for East versus West Indies including spices , fauna and flora and Portuguese maritime Explorer’s and culture influences as well as French and British colonialism.

    There will be Arkansas representation at the TCC International meeting in the Azores. Linda Bell discussed her pre-Azores plans . And her help in keeping us on track for spring and fall meetings is greatly appreciated.
